The Circuit

The Jurby Motordrome is laid out on the runways and perimeter roads of the old RAF airfield. It's wide, mostly flat and has plenty of run-off, which is why a lot of riders do their first races here.

We use three layouts:

  • GP circuit, clockwise
  • GP circuit, anticlockwise
  • Club circuit

The layout for each meeting is listed on the calendar.

Race Day

Gates open at 8:00am. Riders sign on and get their bikes through scrutineering first, then there's a riders' briefing before practice. Racing usually runs through the day and finishes around 5pm.

Getting There

The circuit is at [address / postcode]. From Ramsey, head [directions]. Buses run to Jurby from Ramsey, check the Bus Vannin timetable before you travel.

Parking is free. Toilets and food and drink are available on site.

Weather

It can be windy with not much shelter, so bring a warm layer even in summer.
