What you do

Every meeting needs marshals on the flag points and around the paddock. Without enough of them we can't race.

You don't need any experience. We'll pair you with experienced marshals and show you what to do on the day. [Training sessions run before the season starts.]

What marshals do:

  • Watch their section of track and show flags to warn riders
  • Help riders and move bikes after a crash
  • Keep the track clear between races

What you need

You'll need to be [16] or over. Wear sturdy footwear and bring clothes for all weather. [Food and drinks are provided for marshals.]

Marshals and other officials get free club membership and can still enter races as a rider. Apply for an Official membership from your account once you've signed up and the race secretaries will approve it.
